What makes a lunch meal?

Lunch menus include 5 meal components:

  • Entree option- which contains the meat/meat alternate and grain component

  • Milk

  • Vegetable

  • Fruit

To be considered a meal, students must select at least 3 of the 5 meal components, and one of the components must be a ½ cup fruit or vegetable side.

Payment

School lunch/breakfast meals should be paid for in advance or at time of purchase.  Parents/Guardians have four (4) options to provide meals for their children:

  1. Provide money for the student to purchase a school meal.

  2. Establish a meal account in mypaymentsplus.com and maintain a positive balance to cover meal costs. We recommend setting a low balance alert to receive an email when funds are low.

  3. Complete the Free/Reduced Meal application to determine eligibility of meal benefits.

  4. Provide a lunch from home and have child eat breakfast before arriving at school.

Visit My Payments + to add money to your child's account.

Angel Fund

The Angel Fund was created after receiving offers from the community wanting a way to donate funds to help offset student meal charges. The funds received help cover the costs of school meals for students who may not have qualified for free or reduced-price lunch, but still might have trouble paying for a meal every day.
