Students named to Dr. Thomas’ Student Advisory Council for 2024-2025 Pickens County School District - GA October 8, 2024 Twelve students have been chosen to serve this year on the first Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council for Pickens County Schools. Two students each from 7th-12th grade will meet with Dr. Thomas three times throughout the school year to discuss issues related to our schools, as well as ways to make our district better. Over 70 students applied to serve on this council by completing an application.
