Pickens County School District's Pre-K Program (for Hill City Elementary School only) is a GA Pre-K lottery program,  funded through the Georgia Lottery and the Pickens County School System. It was created to prepare eligible 4-year-old children for Kindergarten. Students must be 4 on or before September 1 and be a Pickens County resident to be eligible for Pre-K during the current school year.

GA Pre-K Programs operate under Bright From The Start: The Department of Early Care and Learning and follow their rules and regulations. Class size is restricted, so space is limited in our Pre-K programs.
