Congratulations to our Alumni of the Week, Dr. Elizabeth Gibson. Dr. Gibson is currently completing her post-doctoral work at St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN. She graduated from PHS in 2006.

Congratulations to Ms. Caladie Duncan from Harmony Elementary School! Ms. Duncan teaches special education and will represent Pickens County in as she competes for 2021 Georgia Teacher of the Year. Teacher of the Year candidates included Mrs. Amanda Jones, Hill City; Mr. Matthew Gibson, Tate Elementary; Mr. Andrew Krakeel, Jasper Middle; Mrs. Claire Eubanks, Pickens Junior High; and Mr. Kyle Rasco, Pickens High School.
