While the Coronavirus is new and we are constantly learning about it, the best ammunition in fighting it is to stay clean, mindful of our surroundings, and educate ourselves on what is currently known and understood.
To stay clean and mindful, you are encouraged to do the following:
- Wash your hands often
- Avoid close contact
- Cover coughs and sneezes
- Clean and disinfect
- Cover your mouth and nose with a cloth face cover when around others
Note: Cloth face coverings should not be placed on young children under age 2, anyone who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious, incapacitated or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.
People are also encouraged to get vaccinated against the flu. Click here to read about the seasonal flu and what you can do to prevent getting sick.
