REACH Scholarship
Attention parents of 8th grade students:
Your child may be eligible for the REACH Scholarship. Pickens County will be selecting its 5th cohort of 5 REACH Scholars in September 2022. REACH is a needs based scholarship program where current 8th grade students can receive $10,000 upon high school graduation if they meet specific requirements during their 8th grade through high school career and enroll in a post-secondary education program. The criteria are to maintain at least a 2.5 GPA, have good attendance, and no major behavior incidents. The student will also be required to meet with a mentor and academic coach. If you think your child may be eligible,please have him/her complete the application (link provided) and submit it to their school counselor by August 31st.
