Kindness Gallery

Welcome to our incredible journey towards growing kindness throughout our district, community, and beyond.

As we embark on our 30-day growing kindness initiative, beginning on November 13th for World Kindness Day, we will share how we as individuals, as a district, and as a community are growing kindness and building a more compassionate world.

Colton Wooten helping his sister get to school

Colton Wooten is the best big brother he can be. He takes care of his little sister by walking her into her pre-school every day. As a kindergarten student at Hill City Elementary, he is already a shining example of #PCSDgrowingkindness.

Gavin Adams, from Tate Elementary was teaching a child who had never played UNO how to play, he was so kind and patient as he helped him. When the child who didn't know how to play played a card without Gavins help Gavin was so excited. He cheered for him and said "Ms. Wendy, he knows how to play now". He had the sweetest smile as he said it, he was truly proud the child was understanding the game. He also often gives his chair up for children who are standing as we are playing UNO. He has the sweetest and kindest soul.

During breakfast, Savannah Pedine, a third grader, saw a kindergarten friend struggling with her hair bow. In a quick and simple act of kindness, she jumped up and helped perfect her hairstyle, showing that it doesn't take much to be kind.
